Dutch Real Estate
The law office assists in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including complex deals of commercial buildings, across the Netherlands.
Dutch Citizenship
The law office assists in preparing applications for obtaining Dutch citizenship and passports, as well as filing appeals before the Dutch Foreign Ministry and Dutch courts for regaining lost Dutch citizenship.

Multilingual Notary Services
Houdijk Law Offices provide notary services in several languages including Hebrew, English, Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese.
These services are available in the office in Tel Aviv and periodically across several cities across Europe including Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Berlin.
Family Law, International Wills, and Estates
We provide advice and services regarding the preparation of pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial monetary agreements, and surrogacy agreements. We provide estate planning, including the preparation of wills, gifts, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and foundations.
Our office also provides legal opinions in Dutch and Israeli Law on inheritance and family law matters.
Enduring Powers of Attorney/ Living Wills and Guardianship
Our office drafts enduring powers of attorney in accordance with Israeli law, as well as petitions for legal guardian appointments and litigation.
Art Restitution in Europe
The firm deals with cases of restitution of looted art, particularly art stolen and confiscated during the Holocaust. We work closely with partners, lawyers, scholars, and art experts to represent and safeguard the legal rights of Holocaust survivors and their heirs.
We also handle cases of property restitution and cooperate with partners across Europe (Netherlands, Germany) to assist in handling claims and obtaining all necessary documents from national archives to prove ownership and heirship rights to the property.
Multilingual Notary Services
Adv. Jacob Houdijk is a notary licensed in Israel and provides notary services certified translations in over 12 languages.
Note that notary fees are fixed according to Israeli law, and notaries may not charge different rates, except for the translation rates. On top of the translation costs, the notary fee of a translation is determined according to the number of words in the translated document.

Jacob grew up in The Netherlands, holds a Masters in Law from the “Vrije” University, Amsterdam (LL.M., 2002), and is qualified to practice law in the Netherlands. Following his army service in Israel, he was admitted to the Israel Bar in 2006 and was certified as a notary in 2018.
